On Friday, October 2nd, 2020 at around 4:45 a.m. I received a phone call from my sister, Katrina Gorski who was calling off of her boyfriend, Robert Morse’s phone which all seemed odd enough. As soon as I received 'the call' that I will never forget, I knew something wasn't right. In complete shock and panic, my sister called me frantically crying her eyes out trying to explain that there was a fire in the apartment and that luckily Robert somehow woke up from his sleep to the sight of flames outside through the window. He immediately woke up my sister Katrina, in panic yelling, we got to go now...hurry up...look for LeRoy, and let’s go! As they ran for their life's to get outside safely they were greeted by a firefighter yelling to get out of the building, now!!
It was definitely a blessing that nobody was hurt and they were both able to make it out safely along with their cat, LeRoy and the clothes on their back. Therefore, during this time when my sister may be feeling scared and hopeless thinking about recovering from this fire disaster, my goal is to give her the HOPE and HELP that she NEEDS and definitely deserves!! Katrina is genuinely one of the most generous, selfless, thoughtful people in the world and has a heart of gold! I know If this happened to someone else, Katrina would be first in line to try to help because that is just the type of person that she has always been. The people who care about Katrina Gorski and Robert Morse are doing everything that we can to help support within our means, however, we are hoping that during this time of need there are people or charities out there who would be willing to help. Considering the unexpected need to literally replace mostly everything they owned, from shampoo to electronics; it is difficult to outline their financial needs, costs, and expenses with so much uncertainty.
The couple will now be forced to find a new home/apartment and will have to replace ALL their belongings including clothes, furniture, lamps, bedding, bedroom dressers, furnishings, kitchenware, clothing, toiletries, accessories, electronics, tools; and all kinds of memorabilia that are of course irreplaceable. However, the majority of their belongings can luckily be replaced, but it will in fact be timely and costly to restore a lifetime of belongings from two individuals. I’ve put together this emergency fire relief campaign as a way for everyone to show their love and support and help them find the necessary financial assistance and donations that will be needed to help support this kind-hearted, innocent couple with their tragic and sudden loss of everything.
If you are able to support in ANY type of way, even if it’s only $5.00, or just SIMPLY help by SHARING, REPOSTING, OR DONATING if you can as any help at all would be GREATLY APPRECIATED and would give this couple a fighting chance to begin rebuilding their life’s foundation from scratch while also being able to maintain stability. Thank you to ALL in advance for reading and considering to make a contribution, and for everyone’s encouraging words of love and support!!
With Love,
#Selfless_Survivors
