Help Sisters cross OCEANS

Aloha,

We are the Women's Novice Advanced crew of Kai 'Ehitu outrigger canoe club. Our team is a humble group of female paddlers who practice before the sun rises and often after the sun sets. Before work, after work, showering at the pier, changing at the pier, paddling in the dark, in the rain, in the swell, the wind, half asleep and aching...we practice. Week after week, month after month, we make huge sacrifices to our personal schedules to be there for one another, granting the greatest gifts imaginable; love and time.  What makes us unique is not only our work ethic, but our ability to lift each other up. We encompass what women supporting each other can achieve.

Our dream is to compete in one of the most challenging outrigger canoe crossings in the world. The "Na Wahine O Ke Kai". A few of our crew have done this crossing before, others have escorted men's crews across it. Yet, for most, it will be our first crossing. A challenge we have been preparing our hearts, minds, and bodies for all year. Unfortunately, despite many of us working two jobs, the financial burden is too much. We are humbly reaching out for a little support to make our dreams a reality. Help sisters cross oceans by making a monetary donation. No matter how small, every gift helps get us closer to a dream we have sacrificed so much for.
