Help Straya Strut & Care for Cathryn

Hello All!

The other day on a stroll with her dog, one of my favorites ran into this blonde beauty, but the pup was limping and in distress, so Cathryn called her super-hero, her wife Rebecca, for help-another favorite, took her home and to the vet only to discover she has a fractured leg. Being who they are, they are going to try to save not only her life but her leg.

Cathryn and Rebecca have rescued-or were rescued by-strays most of their relationship. Their home has been a safe haven for many animals without them ever even being an official rescuers.

They donate their time, money, and love to everyone they meet, but recently Cathryn has had a devastating medical diagnosis that is very difficult to treat and leaves her with an inability to sit, or drive. She recently had to change positions at her work and that with her own medical bills, they are just hanging in to meet her medical needs.

But, in classic Cathryn and Rebecca, they will not let this sweet lady go to the rainbow bridge just yet, so that is why we created this Go Fund Me to assist with the dog’s care without taxing Cathryn’s care.

Straya, an adorably clever name, needs to be evaluated by an orthopedic surgeon who will determine whether her leg will need to be amputated (still adorable) or can be reset. She also does not have her shots, she needs spaying, and the girl needs a glow up (aka bath).

If you can donate any amount, that would be greatly appreciated, but so would sharing the fundraiser so we can help this cute pup and her rescuers.

We are unsure of the exact medical bill, so if there is an overage we will designate the money to Cathryn’s care unless you denote that you would otherwise like it to go to the Pasadena Animal Shelter.
