Help the Klumpes- fire tragedy
Donation protected
UPDATE: Thank you to each and every person who donated, here or elsewhere! The family had been given enough to get them through till insurance stuff gets figured out so we're shutting down donations. Again. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
If there were ever a family worth lending a helping hand to, it's the Klumpes.
Meet Kaushaun and Daniel Klumpe and their 2 boys. Their family has endured a tragedy on December, 2nd, 2022 and they need our help.
This family has been through the ringer lately, they were living away from home due to costly, massive repairs on their house, at their parents residence. Their parents own a campground, where multiple family members keep their RV's, including Kaushaun and Daniel. Though living in their parents home, they used their camper that was on the grounds to house their belongings while their house is undergoing intense repair. Their 2 boys also used the camper as a bit of a play house when they were bored of Grandma and Grandpa. This means all of their electronics and toys were typically stored in the camper as well. Though inconvenient, Kaushaun and Daniel are always the people to think of others and wanted to do what they could not to burden their parents more than necessary by taking up too much space in their home. Their camper burned to the ground last evening. Taking almost all of their essential and worldly possessions away, and worse, their 2 beloved dogs who were crated inside. When the couple would leave, not wanting to add the responsibility of taking care of the pups to their parents list of duties, they placed their crates in the camper with the heat on away from the house as they would often howl. They were gone a mere hour to get dinner, with the dogs put up and all was well as far as they knew. We are so eternally grateful that this fire happened while they were away, and the kids were out of harm... But those children, and this family lost 2 of their loved ones. Now facing intense hardship, Grief, loss and so many more emotions I can hardly fathom. These people are my family. They are good hearted people who always go out of their way to help anyone and every where if needed. They both are hard working people who have spend many years working back in their own town, on city councils, making an effort to restore homes there and build up the town. Spreading support, love and helpfulness where ever they go. I know to some, you'll say, well if they had a camper and a place to stay surely they don't need much help, but I beg you to look deeper and see that this is in fact a tragedy. They're hanging on and thankful for their family's lives and a roof to be under, but that is all they have now. Because of the condition their own home is in, it's unlivable in it's current state and will take time and money they now don't have to complete. Myself and the Klumpes truly thank you for any donations you're able to put forth. You're money will be put towards clothing, toiletries, groceries and other daily living essentials.
We wish you the warmest Happy holidays and Merry Christmas.
With all the love- Jessica Clark
