Meagan is 31 years old and lives in Marysville, Washington with her husband Jeff and two kids, Elysia (11) and Austin (7).
Meagan started having some back issues. After some testing and surgery, she has been diagnosed with a metastatic cancer (the doctors are 99% sure it's originated in her lung). It has spread to a few areas and another surgery is on the horizon.
One of the areas affected was her spine, which she is recovering frosurgery from. This has affected her mobility and left her in a wheelchair.
Currently she is home and doing well, she recently finished radiation, one round of chemotherapy and has just started the next round of chemo.
Things are rough not only emotionally for the family, but also financially as can be imagined. Meagan has been out of work since September leaving Jeff the sole provider. This is especially rough since Jeff is also one of Meagan's primary care takers. With medical bills coming in the truck load. Any amount will help and will be greatly appreciated. All funds will go towards things to help take the financial burden off of their shoulders.
Because this has affected her spine, we are hoping to also raise enough money to get some special accommodations made to their home in order for her to be more mobile in every day tasks.
