The Lady Nerd's Recovery Fund

Greetings friends, family, fans, and kindhearted strangers. We want to tell you about our dear friend, Briana Lamb, also known as The Lady Nerd. You may know her from her Tomb Raider photoshoot project with Dim Horizon Studio last year.



Or her Vogue Loki costume from the year before.




On Tuesday, August 19th, Briana's car was t-boned on the driver's side. She was extremely lucky to survive the accident. The collision gave her a concussion, cut and brusied the skin around her left eye, and broke her pelvis in two places. Upon arriving to the hospital, with no memory of the accident, Briana then had her leg put into traction. A large metal rod was drilled into her leg, through the bone, and weighted down to keep her pelvis stable for two days before surgery.




Thursday morning Briana underwent surgery to have a metal plate implanted over one of the pelvic fractures. She is recovering now, but it will be a long, difficult, and painful process. Briana needs our help covering hospital bills, physical therapy, and rehabilitation costs. She has given so much to our community with her creativity, her friendship, and her amazing spirit. Now she needs our help. We ask that you please give generously to help speed her recovery and get her back on her feet and back into costume.




We have not received any hospital bills yet, and the goal amount of this fund may change based off costs as they come. Briana, her family and friends thank you for your help, generosity, and prayers.
