Help Family Devastated by RV Fire

Donation protected
Derrick Palacio, his wife Marsha, and aunt Charlene, finally had a safe place to live only to see it all destroyed after their RV was destroyed by a fire.   The family had been homeless for more than a year, but Derrick had saved enough to buy an RV to live in.   They were stuck in the burning RV when Derrick forcibly kicked the door open and saved his family and dog, Diesel's, lives.  Everything they owned was in the RV except for his car. The Palacios have no clothes, no shoes, no food,  nothing at all.  The Red Cross had put them up in a hotel until Saturday 2/10/18 only, but a generous donor has extended their stay through the end of the month.

We need to help raise about $2K as soon as possible so they can get some clothes, shoes, hygiene products, gas money, food, dog food, dog bowls, and hopefully, a housing deposit.

Update: The Palacios are overwhelmed by the generosity of all the generous and kind-hearted people from San Diego all the way up to Vista and San Marcos!  Donations of clothing, housewares, dog supplies, hygiene products, baby clothes (for their grandbabies), hotel expenses, and even RVs have all come in!!! They tell me that this support is truly lifting their spirits and making it possible to have hope and to start planning a future.  The RV fire caused tremendous stress, so if they could find an affordable apartment in San Diego, that would alleviate their fears of living in an RV again.  a Studio in the $800 price range would be ideal.

Thank you and God Bless!
