UFO Factory Employee Relief Fund

If you haven't heard via social media, the Metrotimes, or even Click on Detroit, UFO Factory as had some structural damage done to it by none other than, SOAVE, Corktown's least favorite new neighbor.  Unfortunetly the damage is so severe, UFO has to remain closed until futher notice.

The worst part of this, all of the employees, bartenders, sound techs, door guys, and even the wonderful kitchen staff of Laika Dog, are currently out of work at a moment's notice.

This is a disater.  Its the first of the month and no one has time to be scrambling to find a job.  

SO, with that being said, I'm asking for the people of Detroit and beyond, to help the people of Detroit.  

The employees do so much more than pour your drinks, they play in the bands, they make art work, they do MMA and so many other things. 

Don't let their hopes and dreams get lost in the dust because of this next level gentrification "accident" that just happned.  

There are about 15 employees in total for UFO and Laika Dog.  I'm asking you to donate whatever you can so we can raise $1,000 for each of them to help get them through the next few weeks until they have found temporary new employment, which I know they all will because everyone who works there is a total badass.  

Let's show everyone at UFO Factory and Laika Dog that Detroit is here for them.
