Hello my name is Diana and I am one of the owners of LA Dancefit. A local premier dance fitness studio here in Los Angeles established in 2011, offering dance fitness classes like Zumba, Hip Hop, Cardio Hip Hop , Latin Fusion Old School Skinny and so much more! We thank you for all the love and support for the studio over the past couple months, it has been very challenging. We also greatly appreciate all the support everyone has shown for our amazing instructors teaching their classes from home day in and day out while safer at home. Today, we are calling on you to HELP SAVE LA Dancefit. We love the studio and hope to be here when of this is all over! What is LA Dancefit? Well, it all started one day in 2008, I was mom of 3 preschoolers and, I could finally drop my little ones off and have a couple hours of “me time.” So one day instead of doing yoga, I decided to try something new  - the 10am Zumba class taught by Wil, also the co-owner of LADANCEFIT. Little did I know, that day would forever change my life. Anyone who took Wils class was immediately hooked. He was the best dance fitness instructor we had ever come across, his captivating style, presence & teaching skills cultivated so much happiness and joy in so many of us, we could not get enough. Dance was the dream that took me forward for the next five years until one day, Wil shared his dreams with me - opening up his own dance studio.  And suddenly it became both our dreams.  Now home to thousands of students from around the world the studio has provided a sacred space for our community to come to for their physical, mental, emotional & psychological wellbeing. Then in March, COVID hit us as hard as it did the rest of the world and we had to close our doors and cancel our Annual Dance Teams, which was the highlight of our Year. We quickly moved to online classes only, took drastic loses and have been relentlessly adjusting to the rigorous daily demands of the pandemic. We have come to the harsh economic reality that we too are in jeopardy of losing our studio. We’ve been hard at work in the studio every single day with our dedicated support team & loyal instructors - who are the reason we have the strength to keep pushing forward.    We’ve held out for pretty long but the reality is we need help keeping the studio afloat. We are home to so many beautiful people and to think that LA Dancefit may not be here when this all ends it is just heartbreaking. We love LA Dancefit and hope to continue streaming our classes, stay open and be here when all of this is over but there is only so much we can do on our own. So - some of our amazing instructors have come together with a plan to #HELPSAVELADANCEFIT and fundraise for the studios basic expenses.  Our instructors will be streaming their dance classes all day from the LADANCEFIT ZOOM account this week on Wednesday (7/15) and Saturday (7/18). The schedule can be found at LA Dancefit.com These ZOOM classes will be donation-based and you can sign up and donate through our website, Mindbody App or our GoFundMe account.  Dance with them, invite your friends and family, spread the love, share the link or connect us to anyone we may be able to help. We love the studio and will give it our all for as long as possible and hope to be able to provide a lifetime of joy, positivity and ever-inspiring dance fitness classes.
