Marty Widick - father of Emilyne, Nathaniel and Susannah was a devoted father and husband to Penny. On Sunday September 15th, Marty was walking in the park trying to outdo his kids in Wizards Unite, when he had heart issues and suddenly died.
Marty had just started a new job a few weeks prior and insurance had not yet begun coverage. Penny is the penultimate Scout mom. She has been chauffeur, educator. Scout leader and mom. Finances have always been tough with raising 3 kids, multiple Scouting events every week, always having a door open for those in need and helping others. This is the Widick family - they model the Scout Law always willing to lend a hand to others in need even when their finances are tight.
We, Scouting friends of the Widicks, want to encourage you to Do a Good Turn and help out the Widick family in their time of need. The funds raised will be used to pay Marty's medical bills, funeral costs and whatever is needed while the family gets back on their feet.
