After much discussion and prayer, we've decided to build our family through adoption. We are very excited to begin this new journey, and we are asking for support along the way.
While we've been discussing this for a long time, we are still early in the process, and expect it may take about a year to be matched with Baby Henderson.
Adoption expense can range between $30,000 and $50,000. We are financially committed to the process, and money will not stop us from moving forward. With that being said, we greatly appreciate any support our friends and family can offer. Small donations from a lot of people will go very far. We also welcome giant donations from recent lottery winners, celebrities, or other very financially successful individuals with a heart for kids and families.
Here are some of the fees we expect to encounter during the process, and which we will be using any donated funds towards:
$1500-Application Fee
$2,000-Home Study
$6,000-Listing Fee
$6,700-Birthmother Expense Fee
$9,800- Placement Fee
$4,000-7,000- Legal Fees
We are also asking for support through prayer during this process. We are asking God for direction, wisdom, and patience through the journey. We expect to be challenged and to grow through this, but we believe there is a perfect plan, and an amazing child waiting for us at the end.

PS: We want to be very transparent that this is an adoption fund, and donations will only be used toward fees and expenses that are a part of the adoption process. If donations exceed the expenses, the remaining will either be used for future adoption, or donated in support of another family's adoption. Donations collected here will not be rolled into raising Baby Henderson...at that point, we only ask for prayer.
