On Friday, February 2nd an adult rec league hockey team (The Spartans) will face off against the Macalester college Scots to raise money for the Hendrickson Foundation. This event is FREE to the public.

It's a battle of the generations. Young vs. Old.

Friday, Feb 2nd 9pm @ Highland Arena (St. Paul)

Highlights include
  • National anthem by someone with a great voice.
  • Celebrity puck drop
  • Free prizes throughout the game.

100% of the proceeds go to the Hendrickson Foundation: While the game is free to attend, we kindly ask for donations which will go directly to the Hendrickson foundation to help provide new equipment and gear to its players.

More information about Hendrickson Foundation: HOCKEY IS FOR EVERYONE. Hendrickson Foundation seeks to enrich the lives of individuals with disabilities, and their families, through the game of hockey. What is this charity game about? The purpose of this charity event is to have fun, raise awareness and celebrate the game that brings everyone together (including generations.) The "Hands of Time cup" represents the fact that anyone can play the game. Whether you are young or old, able or disabled, HOCKEY CHANGES LIVES.

Everyone deserves to feel like they're part of a team, and with your donation, we can make that a reality.

Can I attend the actual game? Yes! The Hands of Time Cup will take place on Friday, February 2nd at 9pm @ Highland-Shulz arena in St. Paul. The game is FREE to attend and will be an awesome atmosphere.

Where will my money go?: Your money will go directly towards helping fund new gear and equipment for players in the Blind, Special, Sled and Veterans hockey programs. Whether it's new pads, new sleds, or new team gear, the items will provide players with the chance to compete as part of a team.

Why is "COOL STORY" listed as the recipient?: The Hendrickson Foundation is no longer set up in GoFundMe's direct-deposit system. After speaking with Danny and Kristin Hendrickson, we decided the best route would be for COOL STORY (the event host) to act as the intermediary.
