Henley and Hudson

Hi I am raising money for the family of Henley and Hudson. Here is what happened.

‼️UPDATE‼️ Henley is on a ventilator and Hudson is on high flow O2

Both of these babies are very very sick, and them being premature has put them in a more critical condition.

Both of them have had a small cold, and just had a little bit of a runny nose and a slight cough, we woke up yesterday and their noses seemed to be clearing and everything seemed to be looking up. During the evening hours, Henley started looking pale and was seeming uncomfortable during feedings. Around 9pm he was completely unresponsive. Cody called 911 and we met the ambulance half way to the hospital and they done everything they could to get him stabilized. About 10 mins after we got to the hospital, they came and told us his heart had stopped and they were doing everything they could. We never thought we would have ever had to hear that about one of our children. They were able to get him back after about 1-2 mins and then tried intubating him. They finally got him intubated after about 30 mins and lost him one more time during the process. They were able to stabilize him and had a neonatal team from CAMC come for transport. They were unable to Life flight him due to fog. He has a few respiratory viruses, and they are concerned that henley has a small bleed on his brain. We are also waiting on a surgery consult for his twisted intestines and incarcerated hernia. He is stable now in the PICU on the ventilator, they have him sedated to keep him comfortable for now.

Then while they were about to leave with Henley, Hudson took a turn for the worst and done the same exact thing, non responsive, the nurse ripped him up out of his car seat and immediately started working on him. He was not as critical as Henley, but he is still VERY sick as well. He also got transported to CAMC and is currently on high flow O2. As long as they can keep his O2 up, he won’t have to be intubated. Everyone PLEASE pray for these boys, and also pray for Cody and I. Hearing the things we heard is a parents worst nightmare. We almost lost our baby boys in the blink of an eye. After them being born at 28 weeks, being in the nicu almost 10 weeks, I finally thought things were settling down and we were in the clear. But that sad reality is that premies are always at higher risk. We have another long road ahead of us and have no idea what the future will hold.

I hate to even mention this, but the past 4 months have been financially straining, and now we are stuck up here again, not able to work, having to buy gas and food everyday and our home life and bills doesn’t stop.
