Henry Brooks, Honoring a Father's Sacrifice

Our hearts are filled with profound sorrow as we share the tragic news of the sudden passing of our beloved Henry Brooks, a devoted father, hardworking mechanic, and irreplaceable family member.

Henry, originally from Newport Beach, California, was admired for his dedication to his work as a master CAT diesel mechanic and his unwavering love for his family. Seeking a peaceful life, he moved to Hope, Maine with his devoted wife, Danielle, and their three beautiful children.

On the tragic day of Saturday, July 8th, 2023, at Seven Tree Pond in Union, Maine, Henry faced a horrifying situation. His two young daughters slipped on algae-covered rocks, were swept into the water, and got caught in the current where the tidal river met the lake. Acting immediately, Henry jumped into the water, knowing the risks, to save them. His son, demonstrating the same valor, swiftly joined him with a life jacket. Despite their best efforts, Henry was tragically swept away by the current.

The void left by Henry's loss is immeasurable. As a loving husband and a nurturing father, his departure places his family in a difficult financial situation. Danielle, now left with the immense responsibility of caring for their three children, is facing this devastating reality.
