Henry Robert Waring

Hey everyone I am Taylor Schommer, Henry’s God-granddaughter. I was adopted in to the family 31 years ago. There was nothing grandpa Henry wouldn’t do for me, or his family. That is why I am creating this account.

On April 1st, 2024 was the day that the family was aware of Henry’s unexpected passing. This unexpected tragedy has been difficult for everyone to grasp. Henry touched the lives of so many. Henry was a husband, son, dad, grandpa, great-grandpa, uncle, cousin, and friend. He is deeply loved, and will be missed.

Most of you know his wife, Carol Waring (grandma Carol) She is the most generous, loving, and giving person on this earth. She would do just about anything for anybody. She goes above and beyond for her family, friends, job, and community.

Henry & Carol built a beautiful life together in Washougal, WA. They have been apart of the Washougal community for 50 years. Together they had many amazing memories that will never be forgotten. A couple favorite memories are from the time they drove their 55’ Chevy Nomad to Lincoln City. To the many trips to Mayfield lake to go water-skiing, jamming out to Pink Floyd. To heading out to go enjoy Elmer’s (The pancake house) for breakfast together. They had been married for 53 years. Henry was not only Carol’s husband, but he was her best friend.

Carol is now left to carry on the financial burden that inexorably death leaves.

Carol is left to take on all the financial responsibilities solely by herself as a widow.
