Henry’s Medical Journey
Donation protected
My name is Lori and my husband Henry has become seriously ill, very unexpectedly. He is in the ICU, wearing a Bipap mask to help him breathe. He’s requiring a multitude of IV medications and breathing treatments to help him get better. This illness came about very quickly and will likely have a lengthy recovery. He will be unable to work on our food truck for quite some time, which is how he provides income for our family. I am also having to take time off work, to take care of him and to be with him in the hospital. That means I won’t be receiving my regular paycheck either. We also have a 9 year old son to provide for. We are really struggling right now and would appreciate any help that you can provide. No amount is too small. Thank you for your kindness and support at this difficult time.
Update 9/13: Henry is making some progress, but it’s very slow. He remains in the ICU, still using the Bipap mask to help him breathe most of the time. He is, however, able to come off the mask and use high flow oxygen for short periods of time, in order to eat. He is still on 85-100% oxygen. He is staying strong and moving himself, with little assistance, from the bed to the chair. Please continue to pray for our family.
