Henry’s TECA-BO Surgery

Hi guys, so as most people know, I have been struggling to get Henry’s facial paralysis/ear issues to subside with medical management for a long time. Back in February I finally took him to get an MRI at a neurologist and we finally got some answers as to what was wrong with him. When Henry was a baby he had a foxtail in his ear that the shelter never seemed to even check prior to me adopting him. Because it was in there so long it caused a lot of damage and overtime, constant internal infection. The MRI revealed that this inflammation/infection was traveling up his brainstem which is what caused his facial paralysis since the facial nerves run through that area. I have Care Credit and between both my brother and I, have been working to pay that bill down. Now, we have an even bigger bill coming up for his surgery this upcoming week. It’s been hard for me to watch him go through this and it will be tough to have him get such an invasive surgery, but he’s my baby and I’ll do anything to make his life easier.
