Please help me with Kaiser's journey against leukemia

Dear GoFundMe community, my name is Dr. Adil Ladak. I write to you about a very bad situation involving my partner, Jackie. Her world was recently turned upside down on Sept 6th, 2024, when we found out that her 10-year-old son, Kaiser, has cancer. He was diagnosed with Blastic Plasmacytoid Dendritic Cell Neoplasm, which is an extremely rare and aggressive form of leukemia.

There are only 50 cases per year in children in the USA, and globally, 1.2/100,000 children are affected. Very little is known about this disease in children, and every day we just pray that he will survive.

She was devastated when we were told that his treatment with chemotherapy may continue for 3 years and that his chances of survival were 50%. His only chance of cure will be a bone marrow transplant, which he had ten days ago. He has been in the hospital for approaching 100 days with no clear discharge dates. The thought of her losing him is unbearable, and we will fight with everything that we have.

He is such a sweet and fun boy, and this situation is very difficult. I'm very proud of him and Jackie for their resilience. She cannot work in any foreseeable future, and the medical co-pays and personal expenses are mounting and starting to become very overwhelming.

Therefore, I am here to ask for some help for them from my family and my network to make it easier for them so they can focus on his recovery. Any donation, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated and would go towards giving this boy a fighting chance against this nasty, rare, and aggressive cancer and taking financial stress off my Jackie. One can never imagine being in this situation, so thank you for your kindness and support during the most difficult days of their lives. I recently had a journey with cancer as many of you know and thankfully, I came through and am living a great life again, but finance was never a stress.
