Hello, my name is Arica Harris I am starting this go fund me page for my sister in law Julie Harris. Julie is a 46 year old wife and a mother to a beautiful three year old daughter,Dani Jo. Julie has discovered recently that she will for the second time in her life face Kidney Cancer.
Surgery for removal of the Tumor is scheduled for the 26th of August at Sloan Kettering in NYC. The surgeon is 80% certain he can remove the tumor and save the kidney. She will have some pre op appointments and then need to go the 25th overnight to get up with the dialysis just in case the surgery is not sucessful and they would then have to remove it and start immediate dialysis as she only has one kidney due to removal in her first round 23 years ago.
Julie is an extremely strong individual and we are positive she will come through this stronger than ever, but this indeed will be a long journey ahead.
Shes a BEAUTIFUL part of this community and has always been there for others in times of needs and now I'm asking for all of you to be there for her in her time of need. She will have travel, lodging, and new medical bills all occurring and of coarse be out of work from time to time for appointments and healing. Anything would be greatly appreciated but if you can not donate please send up as many prayers as you can .
