Herdys Frontyard Ultramarathon 2023

I’m Graeme & have been running longish distances for a number of years.

Last year I ticked off my 10th marathon, so for 2023, I wanted a new challenge and have entered the above event.

The concept is simple. 6.71km on the hour every hour, last man (or woman) standing.

If you’re not in the starting area when the clock strikes, you’re gone!

Sounds simple, but bearing in mind you’d be heading off at midnight having run just under 61km, then possibly not

So from 4pm on Friday 17th March 2023, I’ll be circling Herdsman Lake, which is just outside Perth WA, with 299 other crazies!

As the date gets closer, more people have recently asked me ‘why?’ The answer is ‘I really don’t know!’ so I’ve decided to do a fundraiser having, in the last few years, lost a family member, a close friend and acquaintances to this horrible disease, which takes so many different forms.

Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of Cancer Council Australia and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
