Thank you everyone for continuing to take care of our beloved Kristen and her amazing family. ❤️ Since Kristen is expected to spend over a month in the hospital I've raised our goal amount to cover unexpected and expected costs that may arise.

My name is Meredith Mosley and like everyone reading this GoFundMe, I've been blessed enough to have Kristen Rust (all the Rusts) in my life. I could tell endless stories about how Kristen has helped me and my family over the years of our friendship. She has answered many of late night phone calls, celebrate each new addition to my family, comforted me as I sobbed, celebrated my joys, and shared in my frustrations. I'm not unique though, because everyone who knows Kristen has had a moment where they thought "God I am so blessed to have her in my life, I can never repay her for this".

Well, now is the time we can show up for Kristen. Because Kristen has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer and will immediately begin treatment. Starting with intensive surgery the week of October 10th to remove the tumor along with a full hysterectomy. Following surgery, she will begin 18 weeks of chemotherapy down in Jacksonville. During this time Kristen will most likely not be able to work, but she also won't be able to do the 1001 things she does during a typical week for her family and friends. To help alleviate some of the stresses this GoFundMe allows those who can not physically drop of meals, pick up kids, or run errands to contribute.
