Hero & Father Eddie Torres loses daughter Vivian
Donation protected
Eddie Torres is a heart transplant recipient and single father who turned his life completely around to raise his single daughter Vivian who received her first heart transplant as a toddler. On May 5th in the early morning Vivian passed away at Boston Children's Hospital where she has spent more time there over the last few years than in her own home of Manchester NH. She had just turned 21. Eddie provided Vivian with a beautiful life and always put her first and always by her side. He is the daddy that every girl dreams of having.
We are saddened by the loss of sweet, artistic and full of life Vivian. Our hearts ache with Eddie as he looks at the days ahead without her. Because no parent should have to focus on how they will cover funeral expenses, worry about rent and groceries we have decided to start a GoFundMe page so we can all show our love to Eddie.
Eddie is a dad. He is also a father figure to hundreds of Roca Kidz and you can often find him with a car full of teenagers giving them rides to wherever they need to go. He works along side foster care and biological parents to help them turn their lives around and get their kids back. He shares his story with anyone who will listen.
He will share his meal with a stranger and not afraid to stand up for justice. He is full of love and mercy.
During this time of mourning, we are asking the community he has sacrificed for to give to him and help relieve some of the burdens he is carrying. Please keep him in your prayers and please consider giving.
