Debbie Wiseman - Lung Cancer Warrior, Local Nurse

Debbie was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer in 2020 and went through extensive radiation and chemo-therapy that year. She then found out she had developed brain metastasis and went through brain surgery to remove a brain tumor in September 2021. She is currently doing immunotherapy treatment every three weeks. It is very expensive but we are hoping that it will help to extend her life.

Debbie has been a Registered Nurse, BSN, for more than 28 years, with the last several years in Oncology and is a healthcare hero to many. She deeply cares about her patients. Her favorite thing has been being a nurse and unfortunately, her career has now ended. This was a devasting reality to her. She now must pay for Cobra which we all know is extremely expensive every month.

She is a wonderful wife, mother to 3, nana to 8, as well as an Aunt, daughter and My Big sister. Her grandchildren are most precious to her heart. They range in age from 2 years to 12 years old. Her whole world centers on them.

I want to help to put her mind at ease on how she is going to cover her medical expenses as well as pay her bills while she fights this awful disease. She deserves it more than anyone I have ever known. All donations will go toward assisting Debbie and her family during this difficult time.
