Palestinian Solidarity Street Art Murals

If you're anything like us, you are absolutely heartbroken by the situation in Gaza. The destruction and unimaginable loss of life, especially in regards to women and children is incomprehensible.
Conscious artists recently launched a series of street art murals in solidarity with the people of Palestine. The aim of these artworks is to champion the incredibly brave journalists putting their lives on the line to show the world the reality of life in Gaza. With international media blocked by Israel from entering the area, we are forever grateful, in awe and inspired by these true heroes for shining a light on what is happening. Our love goes out to the Palestinian people and those in Israel waiting for their loved ones to be returned and everyone affected by the horrendous events of October 7th. We are firm believers that art is the perfect vehicle for creating conversations and for bringing communities together.
“The Israeli army has killed more journalists in 10 weeks than any other army or entity has in any single year. And with every journalist killed, the war becomes harder to document and to understand.” - Committee to Protect Journalists
We recently painted portraits across London championing 6 Palestinian journalists and photographers. The murals were of Motaz Azaiza, Bisan Owda , Hind Khoudary , Doaa Albaz , Wael Al Dahdouh and Plestia Alaqad .
The feedback has been so incredibly positive that we are now looking for support in extending this campaign to spotlight more journalists and the exceptionally brave medical professionals working in the most extreme circumstances to save the lives of others, while putting their own lives at risk.
How the funds will be used.
The initial target of £4,000 pays for 6 high quality murals in London championing exceptionally brave medical professionals.
The plan moving forward
We are focussed on painting more murals raising awareness for the humanitarian disaster happening in Gaza and the West Bank, and championing the brave civilians caught up in the destruction. Our intention is to paint bigger, permanent murals.
Updates will be posted regularly, as murals are completed.
Murals painted 24.01.2024 - 26.01.2024
