Summer Fundraiser with The LGBT Asylum Project
Tax deductible
Support indie Queer art & media. Tax-deductible, 10% funds legal help to Queer immigrants (The LGBT Asylum Project.) The rest funds public art projects like a Bumpy Ride Monkeypox podcast, The Fathers Project (@fathers_project), the follow-up debut, a novel by Leo Herrera and all historical and cultural content of @Herreraimages & @BrownGayJesus.
About the Novel:
I spent the last 2 years working on my debut novel! Your donations funds editing, art, PR and the option to self-publish. The followup to 2018’s Fathers Project (iftheylived.org) is part memoir, part science-fiction and completely Queer & Brown. “Tales of the City meets Blade Runner meets a Telenovela.”
The book asks:
What will it mean to be a Queer immigrant in a future America?
How do we resurrect nightlife after a plague?
How do we face our deepest desires and addictions when no one is watching?
What does Queer sex look like without apps?
Can technology help us grieve?
Follow @herreraimages and @fathers_project for announcements and previews!
