Herring Wedding Payback
Donation protected
Due to COVID-19, my friends Justin and Nicole attempted to reschedule the venue they booked for their wedding- a request that was denied and they refused to give them their money back. The couple ended up getting married in the bride’s parents’ backyard instead of potentially subjecting 75+ people to the virus. They also arranged to have all of the food that was to be catered by the venue delivered to a local homeless shelter.
I know there are many important causes out there to donate to, but I want to try to see if we can give them a little something to recoup their costs. I have no idea how much the venue cost them. I do know they are buying their first home, so every little bit counts. If you can spare anything to help them out and give them a wedding gift, I am sure they will be extremely grateful.
