The Hershey Jr. Bears Quebec Team is an elite squad of youth hockey players who will represent Central and South Central Pennsylvania in the Quebec Peewee World Championship Tournament this upcoming February. This tournament is the oldest and most prestigious international tournament of its kind for 11 and 12 year olds.
The tournament is 61 years running and Hershey’s 60th consecutive year of participation. This tournament has been a showcase for many former, current (and hopefully future) National and American Hockey League players. In its 60 year history the tournament has drawn over five million spectators. Last year 2300 players competed in this prestigious tournament from 18 different countries.
The Hershey team is especially proud of its participation in this event because we hold the distinct honor of having the longest consecutive attendance streak of any team in the world! Each year the team has been able to rely on financial support from our families, friends and business patrons. The support we receive from our patrons is greatly appreciated.
