Help Hershey Find Hope: A Blind, Emaciated Pitbull Needs Your Support

Meet Hershey—a sweet, deserving 5-year-old Pitbull who has known more suffering than any dog should. Found in a heartbreaking state, Hershey was discovered with a wire leash cruelly tied around her neck. She’s been through so much, and yet, despite it all, she still craves love and affection. But Hershey needs your help to heal, and time is of the essence.

At just 26 pounds, Hershey is severely emaciated and her body is frail. Her malnutrition has taken a toll on her health, but there’s more. Hershey is blind, likely due to untreated cataracts, and she needs immediate care to relieve her suffering. She’s also in desperate need of dental work and a spay procedure, all of which require careful medical attention once she is well enough to undergo treatment.

What Hershey Needs to Heal:

- Veterinary Care to treat her emaciation, including a special diet and medical intervention to get her strength back.

- Ocular Exam to assess the damage to her eyes and determine the next steps for her blindness, including potential treatment for cataracts.

- Dental Care to address any oral health issues she may have.

- Spay Surgery to ensure she will no longer face the risk of unwanted pregnancies or related health issues.
