HERTS4MEN - Men's mental health awareness
Donation protected
Herts4Men is in the developing stages of becoming a fully registered charity which will provide a safe space for men to receive mental health aid and support.
So far we raised over £750 by selling our Herts4Men hoodies to local supporters, which has funded local boxing classes for men and women of all backgrounds. Exercise is a proven form of mental nourishment and when government regulations allow, we will continue to fund and organise our weekly boxing class with Harry's Boxing Club in Berkhamsted.
Profits have also gone into the development of our website, mental health mood journal (soon to be released in the spring of this year) and various marketing materials such as stamps for our local coffee shop cups.
We have already helped a number of individuals find suitable support for their mental health concerns. We aim to set up a 24/7 helpline for anybody to use, no matter how severe their troubles are. Our goal is to help people nationwide on their mental health journey and increase social acceptance and awareness of men's mental health issues.
Our friend and supporter Charlie Quinnell has pledged to run 2021 km this year to help us raise money and continue to spread awareness of men's mental health support. Click this link to follow his journey. Donations can be made via this page.
Donations will enable us to continue funding more fitness classes, provide 24/7 support, professional health care, merchandise and aid our journey into becoming the UK's male focused mental health organisation.
To see our progress so far, you can view our Instagram here and our Facebook here.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story so far. Your donations will be greatly appreciated and help make a difference in all fathers, grandfathers, brothers, sons, uncles, nephews & friends up and down the country.
Many thanks
