Joshua Shirk is continuing to fight to regain life as he once knew it as a kindhearted, spunky, four sport athlete. After being in full cardiac arrest for more than forty minutes Joshua is nothing shy of a miracle. But God!
Joshua’s fight of brain swelling went past the 72 hour average point & swelled for six days. To the point of herniating into his brain stem. But God!
Joshua has fought & battled for a year & made astounding advances. To simply look at Joshua it’s almost hard to recognize he has sustained such an injury, with the great strides he’s made in one year. Yet, the deficits are great & we will continue to peruse the best treatment options until he is fully restored.
This fundraiser has been set up for direction donation to Joshua's medical expenses. The best care in the world has propelled Joshua's healing into realms main stream medicine never believed possible. To complete this care we need the support he has received to continue.
