HETMA Prism Scholarship

In lieu of gifts for my 50th birthday, I encourage you to support the HETMA Prism Scholarship that I helped to found that offers education, mentorship, and certification to women and underrepresented professionals in the AV industry who work in higher education. Each year, HETMA offers ten (10) scholarships that include an Elite membership to AVIXA for CTS training, a mentor from another institution, and $1500 travel stipend to attend InfoComm, the industry's leading tradeshow. This initiative was founded in 2021 and is currently in its second cohort of awardees. My goal is to use my birthday to fund two (or more) of the ten scholarships for this year.
