Please help me get out of homelessness

Hello, my name is Obie. I'm a 19 year old trans artist who has yet to transition. I am homeless. I am living in a homeless shelter, unable to support myself. I have food stamps, but they aren't enough. My family cannot help me.

I have been suffering from mental illness for a long time, and was miserable in my mother's home (not her fault, but she did not understand my experiences, which made it hard), and moved to my grandparents' house in Texas to try and get a change of scenery and improve my life. Instead, they took away everything I loved and psychologically abused me for the five months I lived with them.

I escaped eventually, and moved back to Washington. However, my mother was unable to take me back. Now I live in my second shelter, in the same city as her so she can help me emotionally, but she cannot help me financially.

Funds will be used to find me any kind of housing. There are transitional shelters that require a very low cost of rent, and that is where that can go. The money also goes to getting food, because food stamps are often not enough.

I have made progress in my efforts to improve, but it is not enough.
