Hewitt Family House Fire Aid

Hi, my name is Carmen, I am hoping to raise funds for my dear friend Becca. She is a single parent, with 2 lovely neurodiverse teens. On Tuesday 4th March, they suffered a devastating house fire. Fortunately they were all out of the house, as Becca is disabled and could have been stuck upstairs without a working stairlift... It doesn't bear thinking about.

They have lost everything in the upstairs of their home, which tragically included their pet frogs and geckos. Their bearded dragon is now in boarding, and the dogs and cat are safe.

The family will be in temporary accommodation until further notice, as the entire house will require extensive renovations.

Becca and the children will of course need all their bedroom furniture replaced, clothes, footwear, study materials, and all the things you can think of that are kept upstairs.

We ideally would like to raise as much as possible, starting at £3,500 on this platform. It will be several months until they are able to move back in, so our aim is to have a lump sum that they can use and move straight back in.
