Hewitt Family Memorial Fund Honoring Matt Hewitt

Friends, It is the worst news that had to be delivered, that our friend and colleague, Matt Hewitt, has left us suddenly. On Saturday, April 18th, Matt was involved in a fatal accident while riding his four-wheeler on his family's farm.  We are all shocked and saddened to lose our friend and respected member of the Birkel Electric family. Matt was 36 years old and leaves behind his high school sweetheart and wife, Kelly, and their two young daughters, Liv and MJ.    He was an admired father and loving family man who touched many lives personally and professionally. In his loss, Kelly and the girls are facing a truly difficult road ahead.  In their time of mourning, it is important that they feel our love and support.   This GoFundMe campaign has been organized to help the Hewitt family financially while they navigate the burden of this unspeakable tragedy. Matt's upbeat and industrious way will be missed greatly around the Birkel office and by his many loyal customers and team mates.  We are honored that he chose to be a part of the Birkel family for 15 years, and in that time, became a great friend and respected colleague.     Matt was truly one of the 'good guys' in this world and will be missed beyond measure. Who are you and your relationship to the intended recipient of your campaign's donations: Name: Leigha Gaston working as a team for this campaign through Birkel Electric.  Matt Hewitt was a valued colleague working at Birkel Electric for 15 years.  We are raising this money for Matt's wife- Kelly Hewitt and her children.

2. A detailed explanation of how the funds will be spent:  Funds will be withdrawn directly by Kelly Hewitt for daily expenses to care for her daughters, bills, memorial expenses and whatever other expenses Kelly has a need to cover.
