Andy Reeder Recovery
Donation protected
On the morning of May 10th, only two days after his 43rd birthday, Andy Reeder was found by his son Cole to need immediate medical attention. The local healthcare facility's diagnosis was the development of a large and life threatening brain bleed. After an emergency transfer to St. Vincent in Hot Springs, medical personnel reported that he continued to be in danger of losing his life to the injury. Another determination was that he would likely suffer paralysis and/or other major deficits, should he even make it through that initial, critical time period.
Not only did Andy live through that first scary night, he also reminded everyone of his strength and determination by moving extremities that were not supposed to move, and by squeezing the hand of a loved one. The miracle that God has shown us through Andy encourages us to remain faithful in our prayers to the One who can provide complete healing for him. Our prayers also specifically request that no complications arise from the Type 1 Diabetes that he has battled these last 30 years.
The amount of time that Andy will need for recovery is known only by God. That path will not be an easy one, and will likely be Andy's only job for some time. As a parent, being unable to provide and care for your family can be a great burden that hinders healing and recovery. In an effort to reduce those concerns, this collection of donations is being offered to his family to help cover expenses while they are with him in the hospital, and to further assist with any regular living expenses that may be needed due to the loss of Andy's income.
Please feel free to use this option as a way to donate to the Reeder family. You may leave well wishes and words of encouragement for them here as well. Thank you for sharing this avenue of love, support and financial donations on your social media accounts, and most of all, THANK YOU FOR CONTINUING ALL PRAYERS ON THEIR BEHALF!
