Hey Friends, Soni and Ben need some Help.
Donation protected
Hey friends,
I need to reach out and ask for your help on behalf of Soni and Ben.
Soni's Dad is unwell.
Soni's Mum needs full-time care.
Ben needs to resign to navigate his journey with his foot and pain.
Stepping into care roles is such an intense thing.
And I feel like if you know Soni,
Like I know Soni - She is such a giver. And she will fly there with a cape on to do what you gotta do.
But she needs some help to do this.
I know this is a big ask. People are in hard times. There's so much going on.
It's so hard to ask for help.
But.
Maybe Soni is a good friend, and you're wondering how you can help. You might know how you can help - reaching out, sorting something out. But also, this would help.
I'm going to answer the GoFund Me suggestions now -
My name is Shelly. I've known Soni for twenty years. Holy Cow... We've sung in a bunch of bands together, travelled, giggled and waddled about together for ages.
It's important to ask for help because... we're all on this roller coaster together.
You might be low, and can't help right now, or you might be on the up and feeling able to lend a hand. And right now, Soni and Ben are on the low, and they need to reach out.
I've chosen to do this on their behalf. Because I need to help my friend with such a hard, far-away situation. I don't know many people like Sonia. She is the warmest of warm. To every stranger. To every barista, waitress, and person in service, she can make a conversation of warmth and laughter. She is genuinely happy for people. She listens. She's the carer of care. It's rare. And if you know what I mean, I think you'll pop a fiver into this digital 'We care for you' box.
The funds will surely go a long way in helping them move to Hobart -
The flights, ending a lease and stepping into the caring roles they both know so much of.
Ben's journey with his foot is something that is his private story to navigate. But it's thrown a spanner in the works for navigating this ye olde work/home/life situation. I believe there is light at the end of the tunnel, and they've gotta navigate some waters to get there.
Your donation will be deeply appreciated. I know they will both weep and make some very strange noises when they see this. Your donation will give them some hope and care and love and understanding in this hard time. And THAT, above money, will be deeply appreciated.
Please share this with mutual friends and family.
Thanks so much.
