Heythrop Zoological Gardens Support Fund
Donation protected
Heythrop Zoological Gardens is a private zoo and animal training centre located in the Cotswolds that now needs your help.
Since the Covid-19 pandemic national lock-down, all revenue streams for Heythrop Zoological Gardens have ceased.
We have never received or expected grants and rarely take donations. We are not a charity but have provided services to charitable causes throughout our existence, including regular visits to care homes, hospitals and hospices. The zoo also provides educational services to schools and colleges.
Our regular animal encounter clients, carehome residents and visitors to our annual open days will know the amount of care, love and attention our dedicated team put into looking after Heythrop's amazing animals. Working here in self-isolation highlights the familial relationship our handlers have with their charges.
We appreciate that in these very difficult times, this is a big ask. However, during the lock-down period our animals still need to be fed and maintained. Our feed costs alone amount to over £1,250 per week before we have to pay for other fixed costs. Any donation to our fund, no matter how small, will make a difference and be hugely appreciated.
Thank you for your kindness and support,
The Heythrop Zoo team.
