Dianne Laurent is a coworker of mine from an Island in the Carribbean. On Thursday, August 27, 2015, Dominica (DCA) was terrorized by Tropical Storm Erika, which caused destruction of property, separation of families, panic and anxiety for those directly affected, and she and her family are some of them. The storm left behind swamped villages, eroded away roads and washed-away homes.
Dianne's family has been left with nothing, and they are still having trouble locating 5 members of their family. Three of her family members' lives were unfortunately lost in the storm.
This account has been created in hopes to help Dianne and her family have a stable starting point to recover everything lost in the storm- including shelter, food, water, and toiletries.
