2021-22 Blossom Together

For 2021-22, Blossom Together will be leading four separate initiatives to support living standards in developing African countries. First, in Benin, we will be opening three water wells. Second, in Mali, we will fund and assist in 100 cataract surgeries. Third, in Uganda and Burkina Faso, we will be funding and distributing 300 food packages in total. Lastly, in Guinea, we will be funding the maintenance of our very own water system. We have already raised most of the goal, but there is still $5,000 remaining to complete the projects.

More about Blossom Together - the organization is a student-led humanitarian effort founded in 2018. It is headquartered at the University of Virginia with operating chapters in Northern Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Texas. Since its inception, Blossom Together has raised nearly $200,000, partnered with the World Bank, and received recognition from the governments and US embassies of the countries we worked in.

Note on Affiliation: Pinnacle Educational Services is partnered with Blossom Together to provide legal tax exemption for donors. In addition, the Northern Virginia chapter is a team of high school students enrolled in the Academy.
