Who am I?

My mum - Caroline Suhardjono and her teammate, Damien Hauser, have qualified for the 2018 World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships in Taipei this 15-18th November 2018.

Both Caroline and Damien are dedicated athletes and have balanced work and sport amazingly. Their skill is earned through hours of hard work and it shows as they have qualified to the world stage, the only thing that holds them back is financial support as there is little to no support due to the national governing body of Taekwondo in Australia (Australian Taekwondo/AT) lacking the necessary funds.

Though they are no strangers to international competitions as they have previously competed in multiple countries, none held the weight of an official “world” tournament as many of the other international competitions were open divisions. This is an opportunity that only comes by once and for them to be held back financially would be a massive shame.

An estimate of $6,000 AUD is required to break even on current expenses + food while Caroline and Damien are in Taiwan.

As Caroline's son and as Damien's close friend, I have started this page to help them along financially for this world championship.
