Supporting Victims of Sexual Abuse

Road to Recovery, Inc. is a non-profit charity that assists victim/survivors of sexual abuse and their families.  It is estimated that 1 in 3 girls and 1 in 6 boys will be sexually abused as children or teenagers.  During the past twelve years, Road to Recovery, Inc. has assisted over 3,000 victim/survivors with a host of services, including housing, rent, food, clothing, psychotherapy, education, and advocacy.  We are at a crossroads in our mission.  Many victim/survivors of sexual abuse are barely able to survive, let alone thrive, and Road to Recovery needs to be there when victim/survivors and their families are in need.  It is becoming more of a challenge for victim/survivors and their families to pay rising costs for housing, food, clothing, and general sustenance.  While we do help victim/survivors apply for and receive social service and government benefits, Road to Recovery is there to help when there are no benefits and supplement when there are.  We need your help to address the epidemic of sexual abuse in our country and be there when victim/survivors need us most.
