Rachel Jenkins Bereavement From ALS
Donation protected
My mother, Rachel E. Jenkins was diagnosed with ALS this past July 9th. As you know the movement for ALS was covered in the news and social media with the ice bucket challenge. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, is a progressive disease of the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that control voluntary muscle movement. ALS is also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.
The progression of her illness was rapid. This Sunday (Nov. 16th) afternoon she was admitted to the hospital and shortly thereafter was put on life support. Not long after her heart began to fail, she went on to be with The Lord at 6:20pm Sunday evening.
She leaves behind her only child, and a grandson.
Funds raised will go to left behind expenses.
Any help, no matter how small would go a long way.
Thank you,
Tiffany Sapphire Noakes
