Hey everyone!
I am Courtney Henderson, owner/founder of the women and children's clothing boutique, Milk & Honey on East Bank Street in Albion, and helping me with this wild idea is Amber Robinson, owner and founder of Roots Hair Salon, also on East Bank Street in Albion. Some may not know, but Amber transformed what was the beloved Uncle Sal's Pizzeria into the gorgeous Roots Hair Salon (seriously if you haven’t seen it, go take a peak, it’s breathtaking). But one building transformation isn’t enough…
We hear it, read it, see it all the time. People constantly say Albion needs more. And we totally hear you, but we can’t do it alone.
Several people, on my timeline alone have posted the HGTV Hometown Takeover contest, and we believe we have a great chance! We have read the requirements and while they say pictures are acceptable, video is best. That’s where your help can come in!
We have been able to lock down a videographer, but with the deadline for applications being February 7th..we have to move..fast!
The funds we are seeking with this Go Fund Me will go directly to the cost of the videographer, so that we have a one of a kind submission to give Albion the spotlight it deserves. Albion has some seriously amazing potential, and this could be our chance to make it happen!
Thanks for taking the time to read this wild idea up until this point, and for even giving it half a second of thought. Even a donation of $1 will get us that much closer to making this application a reality.
