Financial help for grieving Son and Grandson

Karen Malcolm is a 63 year old mother and grandmother whose life was tragically taken on Tuesday 9th of August 2022. She was just 5 minutes from her home after finishing work when a 17 year old P Plater hit her car head on. She never made it home that night to her son Darren and grandson Braxton.

I have created this go fund me to help raise money for Darren and braxton in this time to help ease some financial stress at present and in their new future.

Darren and his son lived with his mum since braxton could remember, she was so loved and will be deeply missed. With all the grief they are feeling, there is also a lot of financial stress. I am wanting to help them by raising money to go towards current and future living expenses. His mum was his biggest support and as they lived together they shared all the bills and expenses.. Darren is a single dad with 1 income and is now faced with the immediate struggle of trying to keep their home and make ends meet, all this stress whilst trying to mourn the loss of his mother and his sons grandmother.

Braxton is a young boy who is on the autism spectrum and has started his first year of school. He goes to our local school aswell as living in the area so it is important to try keep him where he is so he can have this part of his routine stay the same. As Brax is so young it is really important to minimise any further changes in his life as he processes this massive loss. He loved his grandmother more then anything in the world and his dad is trying his best to process this all for the both of them.
