Overcoming the Odds

Donnie is the kind of person you want to help. He has worked his butt off so much that the Seattle Times featured him in a major article. He is now moving towards graduation and transitioning to college.
He has been accepted on a full scholarship to Weber State University. Donnie will be playing football and going to college working towards a communication degree.
He is excited to put his impressive energy and work ethic into attaining his college degree as a student-athlete. His scholarship is excellent, but it does not cover the smaller necessities of surviving college - and his family, who provide lots of love and emotional support, cannot afford the materials he needs: dorm supplies, related school supplies like a computer and winter clothes, and travel expenses.
He has put everything into becoming a great community member, focused student, and dedicated athlete. Let's set him up for success so he can start on a level playing field.
