Help rebuild a life after a house fire!

Hello, my name is Laura Adkins, and my brother Alan lost everything he owns in a house fire last night on 12/29/2023. I am setting up a GoFundMe to help him and his family purchase the necessities they need to rebuild their life from the ground up.

At about 9:30 pm, as he was getting ready for bed, a circuit breaker tripped, and he went to check on it. Two more went off by the time he got to the breaker box. His girlfriend Kathy yelled at him, and he returned to the bedroom. By that time, they could hear the fire in the wall.

They rushed to get dressed and went outside immediately. They ran out so fast they left their jackets and shoes. Alan was able to go back and grab their jackets and shoes but had to leave immediately. The flames were so intense he could not go back inside.

He lost all of his clothes, shoes, toiletries, furniture, and personal items like pictures that can never be replaced. He lost things from when his son was little. Things he kept of our mothers

after she passed. He lost his phone, food, personal paperwork, eyeglasses, and the title to his vehicle.

We have been in touch with the Red Cross and he was given as much help as they can but it is not enough to acquire the basic things he needs. That is why I am asking for your help. All donations are appreciated. Thanks for your help.
