Rob and Pam

"Everyone's ok." The first thing our parents said to us after they watched their house burn.

Days after celebrating their 10 year wedding anniversary, Rob and Pam lost their home. They were woken by a fire in the middle of the night, escaping barefoot and in their pajamas (with their beloved dog, Chunk, and cat, Doodle). They have lost nearly everything to the flames, including their vehicles.

In their shock, they keep saying "I'm sorry, we don't have a place for you to stay", worried most about not having the house for their 5 "kids" and 3 grandchildren to visit.

The outpouring of love has left us speechless. We are navigating this nightmare by counting our blessings through the tears, forcing each other to eat and sleep, and of course, relying on humor where possible. Reminding ourselves that everyone's ok.

The Kids have set up this GoFundMe for those asking how they can help. Our parents are proud and private people yet have been brought to their knees. We ask that you do not reach out to them directly at this time, as they are understandably overwhelmed. We will share your thoughts, prayers, and words of encouragement with them.

We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to The Red Cross for their assistance and coordination in the immediate aftermath.

We are humbled and grateful.
