My name is Bridget Mc Loughlin from New York, America and I am raising funds on behalf of my friends Nada Ibrahim Al-Awar and Mohammed Ibriham Al-Awar in Gaza, Palestine. Any funds received will be bank transferred to Mr. Ibrahim-Awar, and will be spent on food, shelter and evacuation fees.
My name is Nada. I am 24 years old. I had a beautiful life, a beautiful house, friends, and the most beautiful family.
My family consists of 6 people: My father "Ibrahim al-awar" My mother "Amal al-awar" older sister "Aya" 25 years old "Nada" 24 years old, "Muhammad" 21 years old "Ahmed" 18 years old, "Menna" 14 years old
I graduated from the University of Palestine, majoring in accounting, with excellent grades. I was very happy when I graduated. I had many dreams and ambitions.
I have the most beautiful cat, and she has been displaced with us to more than one place, and now, because of the closure of the crossings, I have not been able to provide her with appropriate food, and she has become very ill, but my soul is attached to her.
After I graduated, I was working and I was very happy. I was building a very promising future, but now it has been completely destroyed and we have no future left.
We were displaced more than 5 times, from the north to Nuseirat, then to Deir al-Balah, then to Khan Yunis, then to Rafah, and now we have been displaced to Nuseirat again.
Can you imagine living for more than 7 months without water, electricity, gas, or a home? Living in a tent with more than 10 people. In the winter, rain falls on you and you drown, and in the summer you cannot stand the temperature. In addition there are strange insects, epidemics and diseases
Suddenly we returned to the Stone Age and cook and bake on firewood, in addition to fear, bombing, destruction and displacement
After losing everything here, many of my friends and relatives, I decided to save what was left of us and, with your help and support, try to get me and my family out to safety as quickly as possible.
Every time we are displaced from one place to another, we must procure a tent whose price is no less than $900. Can you imagine that in order to live only with a tent, you have to pay this amount? Can you imagine how many times we were displaced? So, after deep thought and the destruction of everything we had left in Gaza, we made a very difficult decision, which was to try to save my family and leave Gaza to live in peace. I cannot bear to lose more than my family. I just want to survive, and here the cost of survival is very high, as each person must pay $5,000 to get out of Gaza and saving the amount at the present time is very difficult as we have not had any source of income for months, and my father is suffering from pain caused by a cartilage in the back that we cannot treat due to the lack of medical capabilities and treatment for it.
No matter the size of the amount, it can help us a lot in saving my family after suffering more than 230 days of fear, bombing, destruction, siege, hunger, and displacement. I hope that you will support me, donate to me, and help me in that. I will be very grateful to you, Thank you very much.
