For my Bat Mitzvah project, I want to help refugees. These innocent people are fleeing and need a safe place. Unfortunately, the USA is not letting in as many refugees as we had hoped. Instead of 100,00 refugees, the Trump Administration cut it in half to only 50,000. Where will the other 50,000, and millions of other people go? HIAS is a Jewish non-profit organization whose goal is to help refugees in ways like protecting the most vulnerable refugees, helping the refugees build new lives and reuniting them with their families in safety and freedom. I am raising money to support this organization.
