Life is hard but God is good. In the midst of his long battle with Early Onset Parkinson’s Disease, Marvin’s wife, Cathy was diagnosed with Papillary Thyroid Cancer. Her cancer and subsequent surgery and radiation therapy has left her unable to hold down a job. His small SSDI check is all they have to live on. It is not nearly enough. They are being constantly harassed by collection agencies for the many medical bills that have amassed. There is no relief in sight and every month they get deeper in debt just trying to survive. Now they are being turned away from the medical care they need due to the balances owed. Savings has been totally exhausted and checking is deep in overdrafts. Now, as if that weren’t enough, their air conditioner unit is going out on them. 

This family has deep faith in God and the miracles he has done and continues to work in their lives. Some days, it just feels like they are living like Job.  The last few years have been one struggle after another.
